Two times in particular when I said being self employed is just too hard and wanted to throw in the towel, God had a pastor I did not know and had never met call me from Nigeria (Africa) to tell me that I must keep going. He used what he had to call me in America (an enormous expense for him). I was moved to tears with compassion. Twice this happened and twice the SAME pastor me who had by leading of the Holy Spirit found my blog online called me to tell that God said Keep Moving Forward!

You see it's staggering how much other people's lives are affected by the things we do, the things we say, even just a smile or encouraging word.  This pastor had NO idea that  I had thoughts of calling it quits, not seeing the fruit or impact of our ministry on others, but through him I saw the love and encouraging words of the Lord through this man in such a degree that the Lord would have a pastor from Africa call me to encourage me. Anyone who is in business for themselves full-time (coaches, practitioners, ministers, self-employed, small business owners, etc) knows that it is not easy by any stretch of the imagination and requires tremendous sacrifice, discipline, determination, focus, and support.

For anyone who is where I was, know that you, your ministry (and everyone has a type of ministry), business, practice is significant and you are sowing seeds and making a difference even if you can't see the flowers sprouting above the ground yet.

Even if you can't see a change (in your children, your marriage, job, home, business, ministry, church, practice)... KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!!  The seeds will reap a harvest in time, a mighty harvest you and others will see.
